I highly suggest stopping by if you're in The Valley. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. I got the carne asada combo plate. Everything was delicious, the meat was cooked to perfection and the sides (beans, rice, and lettuce) made the plate even better. Can't wait to go back and try something else from the menu!
2 years later and still a customer!! Food always so delicious -

Pro-tip: the two taco combo for 6.99 is only good from 11:00am -2:00 pm! The disclaimer is somewhat illegible from a distance, buried in small lettering in contrast to the large advertisement. Reeled me in in a misleading way, and I don't like that one bit!
Somewhat newly opened with drastic improvements elevating the decor to the 21st century, La Cebollitas offers anything of the Mexican/Spanish variant with relatively cheap prices.
Ordered the Mexican goat stew -- birria and the homemade tortillas are fluffier making it more palatable.
Goat stew was somewhat more oily in some places and needed more salt and spice to elevate the flavors to a more adequate standard. -

I am on a taco diet. I drove by this place and saw a sign outside the restaurant that advertised "handmade tortillas", so I decided to give it a try. Score!
Fast forward 5 visits later...The food is really good here. Everything seems to be made from scratch and fresh. The salsa bar had a variety of salsas to choose from (along with grilled chili peppers and onions) and it's very clean.
The taco plate here is my favorite. I always get 3 taco combo with handmade tortillas. It comes with rice and beans (the portions are big). In terms of meat options the Carne Asada is the tastiest . Very flavorful. The carnitas and chicken while made well, I find it bland.
While I prefer street tacos or an awesome taco truck for my taco cravings anyday, I find am pretty happy ordering here from time to time. It's actually my preference for the area. The restaurant is good, clean, inexpensive and authentic. Although it's located in a tight space mini mall - parking has never been an issue. -

I finished my order at 3:52pm. 40 min later they had forgotten about me and had served three other people. No one asked if I ordered already or checked on my order even though i was sitting there without a plate on my table.I had to get up to ask if the tortillas were ready.40 min wait for rice and tortillas. 2 stars because rice was good.

The food is pretty good which is why I gave this place a second try but it's really poorly organized. The first time I tried this place, they gave me the wrong food so I had to wait longer for them to remake the correct order... the second time, I placed an order over the phone and when I arrived they charged me and said it would only be a few more minutes, then 15 min later when i asked about my order, they had no record of what I had ordered nor started making my food. Has great potential but won't be going back due to poor management and customer service.
